Morgan, chiefly concerning real estate in Fort Leavenworth, Ka.; accounts, 1853-1860, including bills for clothes, shoes, provisions and medical attendance for factory hands, purchases of hemp, tow, wool, and whiskey, sales of whiskey, and shipments of bagging; New York and New Orleans 1855 prices; 1859 contract for N.M. cotton; 1858-1859 slavery documents; legal papers; and financial papers. Included in the correspondence are four letters, two written by John Hunt Morgan, regarding bets on the 1856 and 1860 presidential elections.
